StoryStream collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores everything on your device.
That is unusually short for a privacy policy, and it is short because the app has no server. There is no account system, no backend, and no analytics. Nothing you write or generate leaves your iPhone.
Nothing. We do not collect personal information, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, or crash reports. We operate no servers that your copy of the app talks to, so there is no mechanism by which we could.
Your worlds and stories are stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. They are included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone, which is between you, your device and whichever backup you have chosen. Deleting the app deletes them.
Text is generated by Apple Intelligence, running on your device. Your genre choices, themes, and the text of your stories are processed on the iPhone itself and are not sent to us or to any third party by this app. Apple's own handling of on-device model features is described in Apple's privacy documentation.
The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details, your name, or your email address. The app asks Apple whether this Apple Account has bought the unlock and gets back yes or no. That is the entire exchange.
StoryStream is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the App Store privacy labels will be updated to match.
